With that being said, I am still going to try and blog a few times a week. I want to stay in contact with my yogis and let them know what’s going on in the Firefly world. Whether it be my random thoughts, new poses or upcoming events, stay tuned for fun information.

There was a recent article that Lululemon put out yesterday and it absolutely stuck with me: It was in that first moment when I finally pushed into downward dog that I understood why I was there and why I would continue to come back. I realized that I wasn’t there for anyone but me and it was my fear of not being any good that had held me back for so long. The realization that it didn’t matter what anyone else thought, opened me up to a whole new world of trying without the fear of failing.” Tedi Martin Yoga.

We all need to practice without the fear of failing. We need to stop looking around the room, scared we are being judged or scared we will fall out of a pose. We just need to do it. Simple. What’s the worse that can happen? You fall out? Who cares? Get right back into it. At least you tried something new, gave it your all, stepped out of your comfort zone. That’s more than most people can say.

So let go of the outside world, let go of your fears and just practice.
